Equipment needed for IRWINO modules

It is important for us to offer solutions that are lightweight, efficient and affordable.

We have therefore developed solutions using consumer-grade VR headsets that are wireless, robust, comfortable and deliver excellent visual quality.

The piloting, experience tracking, debriefing and broadcasting features are handled by standard, non-gaming computers — equivalent to those that many trainers already own.

You can equip yourself independently — all this equipment is easy to find in stores or online — or order one of our WIRELESS VR KITs (with or without computers depending on your current setup).

Our systems are very user-friendly to operate and even to install: 75% of trainers set up the IRWINO modules simply by following our tutorials ^^

About Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets

Usage precautions

The Meta Quest 3 and 3S headsets work well both indoors and outdoors, but you must avoid exposing the proximity sensor located between the two lenses (inside the Meta Quest 3 headset) to direct sunlight
Use the headsets in sufficiently lit environments so they can function properly
Contact us for use in low-light conditions

Performance

The Meta Quest 3 and 3S VR headsets are perfectly suited for the FIRE VR, FIRE AR and SST VR simulators.

They have very similar technical specifications (processor, RAM, refresh rate, battery life and weight)
The difference lies in the per-eye resolution, which is finer on the Quest 3 (2064 × 2208 px) than on the Quest 3S (1832 × 1920 px)
